I always buy eggs from this poultry and as expected I buy in bulk. Well 2 dozen to be exact. And of course we don't get to consume all of it in a flash. So to be safe from any infections or contamination here is a little test that should be done to check if your eggs are fresh or not;
Fill a deep bowl or pan with enough tap water to cover an egg.
Place the egg in the water.
If the egg lies on its side on the bottom, it's very fresh.
If the egg stands up and bobs on the bottom, it isn't quite as fresh but may still be eaten.
If the egg floats on the surface, it it should be discarded.
So there the next time you wonder if your eggs are fesh or not, just do this test!
